A NYC-based start-up biotech investment fund is looking for a paid full-time summer intern. The successful candidate will work closely with seasoned investment professionals and gain invaluable experience in biotech investing. Upon evaluation at the end of the internship, a full-time employment offer may be considered for the top-performing candidate.

What we expect from you:

• Have a background in biological sciences/engineering from a top school
• Will finish PhD or MD by early 2021, or have recently graduated from such a program
• Have demonstrated a strong interest in biotech investing
• Have outstanding communication skills
• Have strong work ethics and intellectual honesty

What you will do and learn in this role:

• Perform literature research in certain disease areas/technologies
• Learn to use databases and research tools to perform competitive intelligence
• Conduct primary research calls with physicians
• Communicate your diligence work verbally and in writing
